BE SEVERELY OBSESSED WITH YOURSELF...

September 16, 2023

When did it become unacceptable to have a strong self-esteem and self-love? It truly baffles me how some people perceive this as a negative conversation, portraying self-confidence as something selfish or for multiple unfounded reasons. During my upbringing, I held a strong sense of self-love, as one should. However, some individuals misunderstood this as me trying to outshine or compete with them, when in reality, I simply had a deeper connection with myself, which was quite evident. When you're truly locked in and comfortable within yourself, there's no need for competition but unfortunately, some insecure individuals hold onto that notion because it serves as a comfort to them. Recognizing this concept stirred mixed emotions, but it was interactions with insecure individuals that clarified it for me. While we all grapple with insecurity at times, it shouldn't govern our lives.

Diamonds Definition of Being Obsessed With Yourself

Embracing self-obsession isn't about egoism or vanity; rather, it's about prioritizing yourself, taking the utmost care, and unapologetically having your own back. It's the understanding of what's best for your well-being and committing to that path. This enables you to abundantly share love, support, and positivity with those in your life, ultimately contributing to a more fulfilling existence. This is what life should be centered around. When individuals cultivate healthier relationships with themselves, it equips them to make a more significant impact in the lives of others. By nurturing your own happiness and growth, you become a source of inspiration and strength for others, creating a ripple effect of love and empowerment that touches everyone you encounter. It's a journey that starts within but radiates outward, enriching both your life and the lives of those fortunate to be close to you!

Things To Remember: Diamonds Affirmations

  • If you are not obsessed with your life and self, change it

  • I only compare myself to myself

  • I am not perfect, but I am perfectly me

  • It means that you won't let them change the way you see yourself

  • As you become more healed and secure within yourself, your ability to recognize those who might not be on the same self-discovery journey becomes sharper

In conclusion, there's nothing wrong with cherishing self-love; in fact, it's something to be proud of. Not everyone chooses to confront their inner struggles or attain a place of self-compassion. Whether you're well along the journey or just starting, remember to be genuinely happy for yourself. You possess the power to inspire others to love themselves a little more. When I discuss insecurity, it's essential to recognize that we all deal with it at times. However, the key lies in not projecting your insecurities onto others and staying true to yourself. By embracing your authentic self and supporting others in their journey towards self-acceptance, we can create a world where understanding and empathy prevail over judgment and criticism. Remember, we are all works in progress, and the most beautiful path is one where we uplift each other, knowing that we're not alone in our pursuit of self-love and confidence.
