What initially inspired you to start your own podcast, and how has that journey been for you so far?
My inspiration to start my podcast when I realized I had so much to say that I wasn’t saying because I was afraid of the reactions of others i.e. family members, and friends. That’s when I figured I wasn’t alone and there were others going through the same emotions and I wanted us to grow together (me and anyone listening or open to watch)
Can you share any memorable moments or episodes from your podcast that have left a lasting impact on you or your listeners?
.. umm well I got hit in the face with a weed dime bag lol but my most memorable moment was more like a slow transition… I went through a break up a few breakdowns and overall learned how different we all are and I grew… I can’t say 1 episode specifically.
How do you ensure that you carve out time for self-care and maintain a healthy mindset while balancing the demands of motherhood and hosting a podcast?
The podcast is my self care it forces me to get dressed up and prepared energy wise. I think honoring your interest and passions have a huge impact on self care.
How do you overcome creative blocks or moments of doubt when they arise, and how do you reignite your inspiration?
Honestly, friends help also but also I have a bunch of random thoughts without a place to put them. The podcast is a natural remedy for me.
Can you share any specific challenges you've faced in balancing your podcasting career, motherhood, and your personal aspirations for growth? How have you navigated those challenges?
Yes! Having sitters on call hasn’t been easy it’s been times where me and a co host would take turns holding the baby (my 2 yr old) outside while we record.
Can you share any transformative experiences or moments where your podcasting and motherhood journeys have intersected and contributed to your personal evolution?
Podcasting helped me see how much trauma I’ve experienced and wasn't tending to. I decided to take up therapy because I saw I had some beliefs that were specific to me that I thought was a natural thing for everyone.
Can you share any tips or advice for aspiring podcast hosts who are looking to start their own shows?
Just do it, record yourself, record it yourself first so you don’t spend too much initially, there are apps and many podcast are just purely authentic so be you people are all different do not think you’re not interesting enough you are!
What message or impact do you hope to leave on people?
My hope and focus is on women- I believe we have allowed ourselves to become who we were told to be and not our natural nature. We can exist without limits as well. We are also free.
What's your endgame? What do you ultimately hope to accomplish in the future?
My hope is to keep on this path, write a book, become a speaker, but overall learn and share that’s all I really want to do.
