What inspired you to become a stylist?

I started styling while attending university. I was styling friends, and then over time I realized I really enjoy dressing people and having people feel confident in what they are. I channel my confidence through style.

What's the story behind your brand's name and logo design?

Well, I’ve been through like 3 name changes lol. I wanted my brand to stand out.. typically stylist go for “styled by xyz” but I didn’t want to do that. I wanted to spark curiosity in potential clients; because “who is him”? Him is me bitch, come find out lol.

Who or what inspired you to create a brand?

Trial and error. Wear what makes you feel good. Experiment, try new styles! Eventually you’ll find your personal style.

Can you share any valuable tips or advice for individuals looking to enhance their personal style?

The most rewarding is when clients say “I would’ve never picked this out” because that’s the goal. Helping clients develop their personal style. Taking them out of their comfort zones.

What do you find most rewarding or fulfilling about working as a stylist and being an entrepreneurs?

What steps do you take to prioritize and maintain your mental well-being?

I pray and talk to God. Take social media breaks. Speaking positive affirmations over my life. THERAPY THERAPY THERAPY!

What message or impact do you hope to leave on people through your brand?

That my brand is more than just a brand, it’s a lifestyle. It’s the way that you feel. My business is all about self confidence. I struggled with confidence growing up, and fashion was/is my outlet. I want to help people build their confidence through style, liked it helped me.

What's your endgame? What do you ultimately hope to accomplish in the future?

My end goal is to be a full time fashionpreneur. Stylist, personal shopper, fashion designer, mentor. I want to launch my own style academy for people who aspire to be a stylist.
